Foods and drinks can hold NPNs, especially as large junk food manufacturers reformulate products with a healthy veneer, while natural health products are limited in labelling and claims. Testimonials and truthful claims are usually forbidden. Will the growing number of junk foods with NPNs devalue the very legitimization the NNHPD claims to be seeking? Is there room for truthful freedom of expression?
